Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini is pushing defender Weligton to ink a new deal.
The 32 year-old Brazilian is off contract at the end of the season.
Pellegrini has made it clear to Malaga management he wants Weligton around next year and is pushing for the stopper to be secured to a new deal.
