Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini hopes to avoid Spanish opposition in the Champions League quarterfinals draw.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are also left in the final eight.

Pellegrini said: "The ideal thing would be to not play against the Spanish teams. But you face who you face, and whoever we play we will try and have a good tie."
