Malaga are chasing Real Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente.
Marca says Llorente, 22, has not been featuring much for Zinedine Zidane since returning from his 2016/17 loan at Alaves and has Casemiro and Mateo Kovacic ahead of him in the Real Madrid pecking order.
However, the operation will not be easy for Malaga to execute, even if the player does want to go.
That's because his salary would be larger than what Malaga are used to paying, although there is a sense that it could be a price worth paying in order to try to stay in the division.
Furthermore, the Boquerones would have to move a player from their senior squad on if any others arrive, given that they've now got 25 names on their list.
