Malaga are on the brink of landing Sampdoria wing-back Reto Ziegler.

The Switzerland international has been long linked with Liverpool and Juventus this season.

But cashed up Malaga have stepped in and are set to sign Ziegler for €3.5 million in the coming days.

The wing-back is off contract in June, but Malaga have the spending power to make him an immediate signing.
