Daniel Majstorovic is of firm belief that Celtic are now a definite title threat after beating arch rivals Rangers 2-0 without some key players on Sunday.
The 33-year old Swedish defender, who deputized for the suspended Scott Brown at Ibrox, said that the performance against the Light Blues was one that shows the Hoops are certainly on the right track for championship number 43.
"At a club like Celtic there are big expectations and pressure to win all of the games," he said.
"We've not been taking our chances recently. But I think we showed on Sunday we are genuine title contenders. We are still in it.
"We played some good football and I think we deserved to win.
"We had big players missing, but those who did come in made a huge difference.
"We showed that it doesn't matter for us if a couple of our big players are missing. We can win this league."
