Mainz goalkeeper Loris Karius is staying grounded over fresh Premier League interest.
Everton scout Gary Penrice checked on Karius last week as manager Roberto Martinez seeks a replacement for Tim Howard. The American keeper will join the Colorado Rapids in June.
Karius admits he has ambitions of moving to England, though is in no rush to leave Germany.
"I once said that it would be a dream to eventually play there again. That excites me still," the former Manchester City junior told Spox.
"This does not mean that I automatically see my next step to England. Should I someday want to move, I must have the feeling that everything fits perfectly. Since the club is decisive, not the league."
