German news outlet 4-4-2 has suggested that Bundesliga clubs St Pauli and Mainz 05 are keen on Villarreal striker Jozy Altidore.
The USA international is being heavily linked with a move away from the Spanish club in January and the German pair have joined a host of other clubs who are interested in his services.
Altidore spent time on loan with English outfit Hull City when they were in the Premier League last season and prior to that had a stint with Xerez in Spain.
