Maicon Santos on trial with DC United
Brazilian attacker Maicon Santos is reportedly close to signing a deal with DC United.
According to the Washington Post, the former Toronto FC and FC Dallas winger is trialing with DC after the Texan club did not exercise the option on his contract.
In three seasons in MLS, Maicon has scored 14 goals and provided five assists in just over 60 appearances, and would provide a good attacking option for DC following the end of Charlie Davies’ season-long loan.
