Maicon open to move due to mistreatment at Inter

Inter Milan defender Maicon has revealed he is open to a move away from the club if he can't be made happy at San Siro.

It is believed Chelsea have expressed interest in the Brazilian and although he is unsure of his future, he is sure of wanting to be treated well.

"I am not a phenomenon, but I am not any old player either," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"For three years Inter have treated me with indifference, perhaps, because they are all worried about satisfying [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic.

"New contracts. Special prizes. I am not jealous of Ibra. He is a phenomenon. This is not the problem. I am tired of being mistreated.

"I quickly said that I would willingly stay with Inter to win the blessed Champions League. As you see, I have made all the good actions. From the club I have only heard silence. The attitude makes me suffer.

"I asked my agent Antonio Caliendo to do everything possible to make me happy again. I am looking for happiness at Inter or another club."
