Douglas Maicon is happy with his move to Manchester City.

Maicon admitted that Roberto Mancini's presence at City was the main motivating factor in him leaving Serie A.

He also revealed that he spoke to another Brazilian, former City forward Robinho, about the switch.

"I spoke to Robinho and he warned me about the weather," he smiled. "But he told me that the people are very nice and that the city itself is nice and I agree with everything he said.

"I'm setting in quite well and I enjoy being in Manchester."
