The agent of Douglas Maicon has continued his public slanging match with Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti. Antonio Caliendo is angry with the way he has been portrayed by Moratti over Real Madrid's pursuit of Maicon.
He told Sportitalia last night: "I am a professional and I ask for respect for the roles. I never said anything outrageous, the president never has time to talk with me, always thinking of something else.
"I'm here just to respond to statements by the president and to ensure respect for my client.
"For this, pay attention to the statements, because if you say certain things you have to be willing to hear the other party. In any case, the price mentioned was made by President Moratti, who requested €35 million.
"If it is true, then he has put the player on the market. The price was made by the president.
"In addition, to my knowledge, (Real Madrid coach Jose) Mourinho has not called Maicon.
"But what hurts me is that he has not listened nor asked us, this is a very serious thing."
