Newcastle United youngster Rolando Aarons is planning for a big season with the Magpies.
The 19-year-old winger missed most of the 2014/15 campaign with ongoing hamstring problems but showed some of his brilliant potential with a dazzling display in his side's 2-1 pre-season loss to Club Atlas in Milwaukee.
Aaron forewent his holidays in order to get himself to a acceptable level of fitness prior to the pre-season trip to the USA and is now eyeing a successful campaign after starting last term with a bang.
"I didn't play last season so there was no reason for me to go on holiday," he told the Chronicle.
"I just wanted to get a bit more work in because I want to play a lot of games. The main thing for me this season is to just get games.
"I didn't (do that) last season so I am just happy to be back to playing again."
Aarons added: "Every season is a big season, this one is no different to last season."
