Steve McClaren eager to welcome new signing Aleksandar Mitrovic to the Newcastle United family.

Newcastle United recently completed the big money signing of Serbian star Aleksandar Mitrovic from Anderlecht and the fans are now hoping to see the striker in action when the Magpies square off against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Sunday.

McClaren has revealed that he will be meeting up with Mitrovic on Friday upon the club's return from the United States and is eager to help the striker familiarize himself with the rest of the Newcastle United squad.

McClaren said: "I think it's the visa we have to get through and it might take three or four days. We hope so. It will be good to get back on Friday, meet him and get him in with the family."
