Rolando Aarons admits it has taken him by surprise how many Newcastle United supporters there are in the USA.
The Magpies are currently in the States for a series of pre-season friendlies which kicked off against Mexican outfit Club America in Milwaukee with a 2-1 defeat this week.
Next for the Toon is Sacramento Republic in California on Saturday and Portland Timbers in Oregon next week and teenage winger Aarons is loving the attention.
"It's a good challenge. It is only the second time I've been to America so I am enjoying it," he told the Chronicle.
"It is crazy how many fans we have over here. Newcastle is a big a club so you kind of expect it. It's good to get the first game out the way.
"Now we know what to expect. The next two games will be good."
