Francesco Maglione has lost his job as team manager at Bologna.

On Friday, Bologna sacked team manager Maglione, giving the job to existing member of the Board of Directors Pier Giovanni Ricci.

"We are focusing only on football, the squad is concentrated on what it needs to do ahead of an important match with Atalanta," said coach Franco Colomba.

"We cannot think it will be easy to maintain our current position in the table for the rest of the season. This is why we must grab every point to stave off nasty surprises.

"As for Atalanta, they are third from bottom due to a series of incidents and absolutely do not belong in that spot.

"I'm wouldn't accept a draw before we've even kicked off. I only consider that positive if the point is earned with sweat and grit."
