Felix Magath believes he will remain as Fulham manager next season regardless of the clubs position.
The Cottagers currently sit at the foot of the Premier League table, five points and a massive goal difference from safety, with just six matches remaining.
German tactician Magath took over from Rene Meulensteen in February - becoming Fulham's third manager of the season - but he feels he will escape the axe of owner Shahid Khan at the end of the campaign even if the southwest Londoners are relegated.
"I had a phone call with the owner [on Wednesday] and everything is fine. He knows the situation, he knows how things work," Magath said.
"I have no doubt about my contract. I don't worry about it.
"It's normal if things in clubs don't go well. There is politics, people who call journalists and tell them 'I know that is going on', but I don't care.
"Sure I'll be here next season. I'm here to build a team. That was clear from the beginning.
"I like to develop teams, I like to develop players so therefore I'm here. I will be here next season and I will do that here."
