Hedwiges Maduro insists he's happy with his decision to join Valencia this season.

Maduro has seen fellow Dutchman Ronald Koeman lose his job in recent weeks, but says he has no regrets over his move from Ajax.

"I feel good here. I came to this club because it is big," said the midfielder. "I have left four years on my contract and I want to fulfill them. I am going to improve because I am young and I have potential.

"Starting from next season I will be able to demonstrate my ability better."
