Rafa Benitez has heaped praise on 16 year old prodigy Martin Odegaard, and has admitted that a loan move could be good for the Norwegian.

"I'm impressed with him because technically he is very good, he has speed, he has ability, he takes care of himself very well," Benitez said.

"He is a very good prospect and very good player already. The question of how good he can be is for the future, he is too young now.

"But as for now, he will keep training with us for some weeks, I do not want to see him not progressing, at the same time I can see him going offshore in a good position for him where he can get some games and develop. "

Odegaard joined Madrid from Norwegian club Stromsgodset in January this year.
