Mackie hopes QPR buy big in January

QPR striker Jamie Mackie hopes they're busy in the January market.

Mackie wants to see QPR make more signings in the winter transfer window.

"I think it is essential that we continue to add in January. We want to keep moving up the league and stay in the league, so I think that is something we have to do," he explained to the Mirror.

"All great sides have got competition. The lads here would welcome that with open arms, there won't be any animosity towards the club if they bring in more players because we all want the same thing - success.

"We are in the Premier League now and no-one is nailed down for a place."

So, even with Joey Barton now the captain, is Warnock still the biggest personality at the club?

"He would like to think so, I am sure," Mackie joked. "As long as I am playing, he can be the biggest personality, I don't mind!"
