Mackie happy to compete at QPR with any big-money arrival

Jamie Mackie has no problem with new QPR boss Mark Hughes spending big this month.

Even if his place is under threat, Mackie is up for the challenge.

"When a new manager comes in, you expect him to bring in his own players," said the Scotland star.

"But I'm not scared about losing my place and having to fight for it.

"I have confidence in my own ability and hope the manager likes what he sees."
