Jamie Mackie was pleased to be on the QPR scoresheet in their 1-1 draw with Aston Villa.
Mackie, who has scored in two of QPR's past three games, appears to have already benefited from Harry Redknapp's arrival. The 27-year-old became just a fringe player under Mark Hughes this term as he was forced out by the new arrivals but is now back in favour and is delighted to be working with the former Spurs boss.
He said: "It's not just any person [who has taken over], it's Harry Redknapp. He comes with an aura about him that you want to work hard for him. That's a massive quality and you can see already around the place that the lads are buzzing.
"I am up for the fight without a doubt. I love a challenge and playing in games where there is a lot riding on it certainly provides that."
