Mackay urges Cardiff players not to lose belief

Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay has urged his players to maintain their belief after dropping into the relegation zone.

The Bluebirds slipped to 17th in the Barclays Premier League table with a 3-0 defeat to leaders Arsenal on Saturday.

Mackay said: "We've got a game in midweek and then another one on Saturday, two games coming up in the space of four days and now we turn our attentions to that.

"This is about us being consistent but it is also about not getting too high or too low, as to where we are.

"We know what mini leagues we are in in this division. It is about having that belief and calmness.

"What matters is where we are in May, we go on the road for another two tough games, but we are coming off the back of facing two of the biggest clubs in Europe and acquitting ourselves very well."
