Mackay undermined as Cardiff owner Tan replaces Moody with unknown

Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan is believed to have destabilized things at the Welsh club by sacking head of recruitment Iain Moody according to the Daily Mail.

Manager Malky Mackay has had a long relationship with Moody, working alongside him at Watford, before the pair moved to Cardiff together but Tan has decided to replace him with a friend of his son who has little football experience.

Kazakhstani Alisher Apsalyamov has taken over Moody's role with the Bluebirds which appears to be a questionable decision by Tan considering the latter identified and signed the likes of Steven Caulker and Guy Medel, Kevin Theophile-Catherine and Andreas Cornelius in the summer.
