Mackay drops Cardiff compo case

Sacked Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay has dropped his compo case against club owner Vincent Tan.

The Daily Mail says Mackay has issued an embarrassing apology after dropping his £7million legal claim against Cardiff owner Tan.

The Scottish manager was sacked by the Bluebirds following a series of disagreements over the direction of the club.

The 42-year-old will receive nothing as part of an out-of-court settlement and will pay his own legal fees.
