Malky Mackay's friends fear he could be gone from Cardiff City within days.
The Daily Mail says Mackay is on the brink of being forced out of the club, with sources close to the Scot fearing he could be gone within days.
The club's controversial owner Vincent Tan is known to have brought the festering situation at the Cardiff City Stadium to a head by sending an aggressive email to the Scot, ordering him to resign or else be sacked.
In the lengthy email, the Malaysian billionaire criticised Mackay's signings, tactics, results and his handling of budgets, which comes on the back of Tan's claims earlier this week that Cardiff overspent by £15million in the summer.
