Malky Mackay's future at Cardiff City is in fresh doubt after a withering attack from the club's CEO Simon Lim.
Lim, in a public statement, told Mackay he will not get a 'single penny' for new signings in January.
Lim went on to claim Mackay overspent by £15million in the summer - admitting for the first time that such spending was the reason why head of recruitment Iain Moody was dismissed in October.
"The overspending of £15m has upset Tan Sri greatly, resulting in the removal on Iain Moody as head of recruitment. As such, he has stated that not a single penny will be made available in January," said Lim.
