The agent of 17 year old Federico Macheda is hoping for a long term deal with Manchester United in the summer. "Federico has a contract until 2011," he told the Italian press.

"On August 22, when he is 18, it will all be discussed.

"I believe that Manchester will ask us to sign a contract for five years, but even if they offer us three or four years, it will not be a problem.

"We haven't discussed wages, but we won't be making any special demands."
