Federico Macheda will stay at Manchester United says his agent.
The 19-year old Italian spent the past few months on loan with Sampdoria and some reports suggested that he could remain in his homeland as the likes of Fiorentina and Parma were set to swoop.
But his representative, Govanni Bia, says that there is a very strong chance Macheda will continue on at Old Trafford.
"He returned to Manchester for treatment on an injury he picked up," Bia told the Daily Star Sunday.
"I will speak to Sir Alex Ferguson after the Champions League final but there is a 90 per cent chance that Macheda will stay at Manchester United. "
