The agent of Kiko Macheda says the striker's future is tied to Manchester United.
The 19 year-old continues to be linked with a return home to Italy.
But Giovanni Bia told Calciomercato.it: "I was in Manchester 10/15 days ago and I spoke with (Sir Alex) Ferguson. The talk about a transfer was not even mentioned.
"Ferguson is focusing on him, he wanted him in Manchester as one of his forwards.
"The Scottish manager says that, if all goes as it should, Macheda can become one of the strongest attackers. Impossible, therefore, for a transfer in January from Manchester United."
