DC United announced today that MacFarlane-Chang has purchased, from SE Development, its remaining interest in MacFarlane-Chang DC Soccer, LLC.
The sale leaves all shares of DC United under the control of MacFarlane-Chang, LLC of which Will Chang is Chairman. The purchase is a part of a strategic reorganization of team ownership.
Previously, a Chang owned company purchased MacFarlane Partners' interest in the club on May 20, 2009. MacFarlane Chang DC Soccer, LLC originally bought the operating rights to D.C. United in January 2007 from the Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG).
