Macedonia boss Srecko Katanec has resigned after a blow-up with Lazio striker Goran Pandev.
The incident took place before Macedonia's 4-0 hammering at the hands of Holland in a World Cup 2010 qualifier.
"I didn't quit because of the 4-0 defeat," Katanec revealed in a Press conference.
"I resigned because of a nasty face-to-face with Pandev who created discontent amongst the squad.
"I can't allow that kind of behaviour and it is impossible for me to work in these conditions."
