The agent of Siena striker Massimo Maccarone insists he's staying with the Serie A strugglers.

Sampdoria have put some feelers out just in case a big offer arrives from Chelsea for Italy international Giampaolo Pazzini.

Speaking to calciomercato.it, Silvano Martina said: "I have read the story in the newspaper, but there's nothing to it.

"Siena have changed owners, they still have a chance of survival and don't want to deprive themselves of their best player."
