Former Tottenham captain Gary Mabbutt says they'll be playing Champions League football next season.

Mabbutt is certain his old side will not blow a top-four spot in the Premier League after losing to Liverpool on Sunday.

He said: "It's unfair to say Spurs will throw it away once again.

"In the last three years we've come fourth, fifth and fourth.

"This year we are pushing for the Champions League again."
