Former Tottenham captain Gary Mabbutt believes there's more to come from centre-half Michael Dawson.
Mabbutt believes that another Spurs centre-back Dawson could become a successor to John Terry or Rio Ferdinand in the England set-up.
He said: "Dawson has the potential to fill that gap, he is growing in stature as seasons go on and can certainly at least stake a claim for that position.
"He has played for Tottenham many times now and is learning to lead the team more. There is far more potential that is to be seen from Michael."
