Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is still expecting an apology from Carlos Tevez.
The Guardian says Tevez will have to apologise to Roberto Mancini in order to play for Manchester City again, despite deciding not to appeal against his club punishment.
Argentinian Tevez was fined four weeks' wages after being found guilty of five breaches of his contract when the club claimed he refused to come off the bench in the 2-0 defeat at Bayern Munich in September.
The penalty was reduced to two weeks by the Professional Footballers' Association but he had until yesterday to appeal against that.
But despite ending his legal dispute with the club, he will remain on the fringes at Manchester City, with a January exit likely unless he says sorry for his behaviour.
