French club Lyon are planning a move for soon-to-be free agent John Guidetti.
While Guidetti has struggled to establish himself in the Manchester City first team, he has enjoyed fruitful spells while on loan with the likes of Feyenoord and Celtic.
It was Guidetti's 15 goals last season which went a long way in helping Celtic claim the Scottish Premiership and with the Swedish striker set to become a free agent upon the expiration of his contract at City in June, one can expect a host of clubs to pursue his services.
Now according to reports, it has been claimed that Lyon are plotting a move for Guidetti. The likes of Bolton and Stoke City are also said to be interested but with Lyon offering Champions League football next season, it is likely that the striker will be tempted to the Stade de Gerland.
