Olympique Lyon striker Bertrand Traore believes he wasn't given a fair chance to prove himself at Chelsea.
After several loan spells away, Traore chose to join OL permanently this summer.
And he admits making it at Chelsea as an academy player is next to impossible after his experience in Cobham.
Traore told Onze Mondial: "Why did it not work? I do not know.
"I fought, I reached the first team. But, in Chelsea, for a player from the training centre, it's almost impossible to impose yourself as a starter. And I wanted to be a starter ... I'm proud of what I did there before I left.
"Leaving the academy, joining the first team and scoring goals in the pros, it's not bad."
