Lyon push for Anderson opens Lloris door for Man Utd
Manchester United are willing to sell Anderson for the right price.
Olympique Lyon are keeping tabs on the Brazil international's situation.
The Daily Mail says Anderson is not the most popular player at United. Many insiders still hold him responsible for last season's Champions League final defeat to Barcelona and believe his demeanour and attitude around the club leaves a lot to be desired.
The one saving grace for him though is that manager Sir Alex Ferguson still regards him highly - although that was also brought into question following his inept display against Manchester City last week.
United would sell if the price was right but have to be careful they don't leave themselves short of bodies with Paul Scholes in his twilight years and Owen Hargreaves still battling back to fitness.
His departure seems inevitable but the timing has to be right. A compromise deal involving Lyon goalkeeper Hugo Lloris could yet be discussed.
