Olympique Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas admits they're keen on Chelsea outcast Florent Malouda.

Malouda has revealed he's been told to train with the youth team this week.

A free transfer is unlikely, but Aulas said: "Florent Malouda was discussed but it was thought that it was very difficult economically. But he is a friend and if he wants to come to Lyon he will obviously be welcome.

"Provided that he fits in the game plan of the coach."
