Lyon president Aulas: Gomis rejected Swansea

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has defended their treatment of Bafetimbi Gomis as they seek to sell.

The France striker has been frozen out of first team training as he pushes to leave OL. Newcastle United and Tottenham are among clubs chasing the centre-forward.

"There are proposals that have been made, some were rejected, others are under discussion. We'll try to handle it better. Today, those who complain do not know what happens here. I assume he has no regrets," said Aulas.

"Gomis refused Kazan, Istanbul and most recently Swansea. It was a position that he took."
