Olympique Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas admits Tottenham have gone cold on goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

Lloris is expected to join Spurs before tomorrow's transfer deadline.

But Aulas told Mercato365: "There is no recent news. As I said on Monday, we've been approached by Tottenham and the decision still belongs to Hugo (Lloris). It worked in the sense that Hugo had asked and now there is no surprises.

"He was also present at the official photo."

He added: "There is never a final agreement as long as the player is not in agreement with another club. There are still commas, regulations, procedures ... But broadly, we agree."
