Olympique Lyon are prepared to sell Nabil Fekir to Liverpool this week, it has been revealed.

L'Equipe says Lyon would allow Fekir to depart if they receive an appropriate offer- believed to be upwards of £60million.

Liverpool have already spent heavily this window as they look to improve a squad that reached last year's Champions League final.

The Reds have brought in Alisson, Naby Keita, Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri to bolster the squad that at times looked threadbare last term.

Although there was plenty of quality across the board in the first-team, the lack of a potent substitute was apparent, something that bringing in Fekir may have helped to address.

Nevertheless, with the transfer window closing early this year - on Thursday at 5pm - time is running out and Liverpool may miss out on their man.
