Olympique Lyon are ready to sell Aly Cissokho.

It emerged last week that Liverpool chief Damien Comolli had held talks with Lyon officials about a January deal for the left-back.

And L'Equipe says cash problems have hit the club meaning Cissokho will have to be sacrificed to balance the books.

"There is nothing concrete, I know what the club expects from me," said the 24 year-old. "Anything you say does not matter, I do not even need to deny things because I'm only focused on my season."
