Ligue 1 outfit Lyon have emerged as a potential suitor for Manchester United attacker Anthony Martial.

Recent reports have suggested that the French international is unhappy with the lack of first-team opportunities at Old Trafford.

The 22-year-old, who has netted 11 times this season, has not started a league game since the home win against Chelsea in February.

Arsenal and Juventus are both interested in Martial but Lyon are also aiming to add him to their squad by offering the flexibility of a loan move with a view to it becoming permanent.

United and Lyon are no strangers to doing business together.

They signed Memphis Depay after the Dutch international struggle to adapt to Premier League football.
