Lyon midfielder Jean Makoun II has played down talk of interest from Manchester United.

Marseille are credited with an interest, as are United, Barcelona and Real Madrid, but the midfielder is ignoring all speculation while Cameroon are still at the World Cup.

"I am not interested in transfers to Real Madrid, Man United or Barcelona at the moment," Makoun told skysports.com.

"My concern at the moment is to perform well for my country and to try and create history here in Africa, allowing me to realise a childhood dream. Marseille are a good club, but let's wait and see."
