Lyon keen on Sunderland captain Cana

Olympique Lyon are chasing Sunderland captain Lorik Cana.

The Journal says Lyon are eyeing Cana after seeing Patrick Vieira snub them for Manchester City last week.

Sunderland paid £5m for Cana this summer, and having made the 26-year-old his priority signing in the summer, it is hard to see Steve Bruce letting him go, even for a large profit – especially at a time when the squad is suffering badly with injuries.
