Lyon fullback Jordy Gaspar is interesting Liverpool.

The Sun says Jurgen Klopp is hoping to bring Lyon's teenage defender Gaspar to Anfield as the German boss' defensive overhaul continues in full swing.

Having already signed centre-backs Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan from Schalke and Augsburg respectively, Liverpool chief Klopp is now hoping to build for the future with full-back Gaspar.

The French defender, 19, can play either as a right back or left back.

Gaspar has yet to play a first team game for the Ligue 1 outfit, however he featured seven times in the Europa Youth League in 2015-16.
