Olympique Lyon have confirmed interest in Barcelona midfielder Alex Hleb.

Hleb, who is also interesting Aston Villa, is weighing up his future at the Nou Camp after a difficult first season in Spain.

Lyon chief Bernard Lacombe said: "He is a very good player, we'll see what we can do."
