French club Lyon have revealed that Tottenham have not been able to agree a fee for Hugo Lloris.
The France number one goalkeeper has been linked with Spurs for most of the summer and it appeared that a deal had been done on transfer deadline day but Lyon have confirmed that the deal may not go ahead.
"Olympique Lyonnais have not reached an agreement with Tottenham for the transfer of Hugo Lloris," read a statement on the club's official website.
"The proposals forwarded this evening by Tottenham are very different from the principle which had been agreed on August 26 and which had allowed to open the discussions between the player and the London club."
