Lyon coach Bruno Genesio is delighted with the progress of Lucas Tousart this season.

The young midfielder has caught the eye of Jose Mourinho, with Manchester United planning a summer bid.

Genesio said of Tousart: "Lucas, we know he is progressing from game to game.

"He's smart, he's young and listening. When he is on ground, he is important to us. He balances the game, he is intelligent by his positioning.

"If he is to play tomorrow, he will be important for us."
